Penang Butterfly Farm

Nov 08, The Penang Butterfly Farm at Teluk Bahang has been a popular destination in Penang, especially for the school children. To me it is rather small, been here many years ago - there has been no change to the actual display garden after so many years but the souvenir shop has definitely grown. Instead of spending money on the actual essence of the farm (i.e. insect and butterfly), a horrendous rock wall has been added to the main entrance. It would have been worth while if the garden was expanded and more species of butterfly were seen. Maybe I will return again after many years. If you have limited time in Penang, skip this unless you stay in Batu Feringgi area which is quite close by.
